Tyrone managers Feargal Logan and Brian Dooher have made one enforced change for Saturday’s crunch All-Ireland SFC round-robin tie against Armagh at O’Neills Healy Park.
Frank Burns misses out following his red card in the three-point defeat to Galway last month. His absence has forced a reshuffle in the Tyrone defence with Michael O’Neill moving from centre-forward to centre-back while Conor Meyler moves to the half-forward line with Niall Sludden recalled to the starting team for the first time in the Championship.
Meanwhile, Armagh manager Kieran McGeeney has made two changes from last Saturday’s one-point win over Westmeath.
The Orchard County were three points down in the last 10 minutes, but snatched a last-gasp win thanks largely to Conor Turbitt’s goal two minutes from time.
The Clann Éireann attacker has been rewarded with a starting berth while Crossmaglen’s Callum Cumiskey is also drafted in for his first Championship start.
Joint-captain Aidan Nugent drops to the bench while defender James Morgan misses out after picking up an injury against Westmeath.
Paddy Burns is included among the substitutes while Stephen Sheridan is also added to the match-day squad with Connaire Mackin missing out.
