Chelsea have been quite proactive towards the end of the 2025 winter transfer window as they look to reshape their squad for the second half of the 2024/25 campaign. It now looks like they will be allowing Axel Disasi to leave after a lot of speculation.

How Much Will Chelsea Earn From Disasi’s Loan?

Fabrizio Romano has given his here we go to report that the Blues have a deal in place with Aston Villa to send the French defender on loan until the remainder of the ongoing campaign. He adds that the Villans will be covering the entirety of the 26-year-old’s salary and have agreed to pay the same loan fee that Tottenham Hotspur had also agreedupon.

The journalist also states that Disasi had said no to a possible move to Tottenham because he wanted to join Unai Emery’s side for a long period. There is no buy option included in this loan deal, but Romano also mentions that Chelsea is going to get a decent £5 million fee from Aston Villa for the loan deal. Disasi will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer, after which the club will decide what to do with him for the future.

Chelsea’s Winter Transfer Business Summed Up

The impending loan of Disasi is not the only one that Chelsea have approved in the winter transfer window. That is because they have also loaned out the likes of Renato Veiga (to Juventus), Carney Chukwuemeka (to Borussia Dortmund) and have agreed to loan out Joao Felix to AC Milan for the rest of the 2024/25 season.

The Blues have also sold Cesare Casadei to Torino. They brought back Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace and are reportedly set to sign midfielder Mathis Amougou before the window closes. But the London side will probably keep a close eye on how Disasi performs in the Premier League after the Frenchman featured in 17 games for them this season.
