Folarin Balogun is reportedly considering a move away from his parent club, Arsenal, after a phenomenal season in France.

The newly-committed American striker bagged 20 goals in the Ligue 1 season with Stade de Reims this past season.

It's not exactly clear where Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta ranks Balogun within his current squad - which features strikers like Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah.

Balogun recently inked a three-year contract that would keep him with the Gunners up until 2025.

According to Sky Sports, Balogun and his representatives are likely to sit down with Arteta and the Arsenal board to discuss his future.

The television outlet says that Balogun isn't interested in going out on loan again if Arsenal aren't going to keep him in the squad.

Sky says, 'He wants a start at a club where he can make his name and get a stable kind of career path ahead of him. Hence, why he's thinking the permanent move might be the way to go.'

According to reports, there are multiple European clubs in the top flight interested in acquiring the 21-year-old.

Both Marseille and Monaco are considering making a move to keep Balogun in France for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

Multiple reports have also linked him with the likes of RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.
