ZVEREV SUFFERS WORST RESULT OF SEASON AMID SHOCKS AT CANADIAN OPEN

• Wimbledon women's singles champion Linda Noskova suffered a straight-sets defeat to American Caty McNally at the Canadian Open, marking her first loss since her All England Club triumph.
• World No 3 Alexander Zverev, a Wimbledon men's singles finalist, was also defeated in his first match in four weeks, losing in three sets to Tallon Griekspoor.
• This defeat is the first time all season Zverev has lost his first match of any tournament.
• Fourth seed Daniil Medvedev was another high-profile casualty, losing to Botic van de Zandschulp, while Briton Cameron Norrie advanced.
