England captain Owen Farrell has spoken about how he 'can't wait' to return to Steve Borthwick's side after being named in the team to face Chile. The Red Roses will be hoping to make it three wins from three in Group D on Saturday afternoon at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Farrell has not featured in either of England's opening two matches of the Rugby World Cup due to suspension but is set to make his return over the weekend, replacing George Ford. Speaking ahead of the match, the 31-year-old explained: "It's been tough-ish not playing but it has been brilliant seeing what the lads have been doing and I can't wait to be back."
In other news, France laid down a marker with a 96-0 win over Namibia on Thursday. The hosts impressed on the night as they broke their Rugby World Cup record for highest-scoring success, though an injury to captain Antoine Dupont has taken the gloss off of the evening.
