REAL MADRID SET PRICE LIMIT IN RACE WITH LIVERPOOL AND MAN CITY FOR JUDE BELLINGHAM

Real Madrid are in the race to sign Jude Bellingham this summer, but they are not willing to spend more than €100m (£88m) on the England midfielder, according to reports in Spain.

The Borussia Dortmund superstar is wanted by pretty much every big club in Europe, although the three which appear to be in with a chance of signing him this summer are Real, Liverpool and Manchester City.

Dortmund are keen to keep hold of the 19-year-old and want him to sign a new contract, although they are expecting some big bids to come in for him this summer.

Real Madrid are likely to put in one of those bids, with Bellingham one of their top priorities in the summer transfer window, but Spanish publication AS report that they have set themselves a spending limit on the Englishman.

The top price the Spanish giants are willing to pay for Bellingham is reportedly €100m (£88m), which is clearly a huge amount, but the Premier League suitors may go even higher than that.

Dortmund are thought to want more like €120m (£105m) for the teenager, which Liverpool and Manchester City may be willing to stretch to, but Real Madrid reportedly will not.

Bellingham remains likely to make a move this summer, with Liverpool desperate to bring him in and help solve their midfield problem, however, Dortmund reportedly have a plan to keep hold of him for at least one more season.

German publication BILD report that Dortmund are offering Bellingham a huge pay increase to £13m-per-year, with a release clause of £131m

The England star may be tempted to continue his development in the Bundesliga where he is evolving impressively.
