TOTTENHAM KEEN ON 28-YEAR-OLD LIGUE 1 STAR WHO HAS IMPRESSED IN THE EUROS SO FAR
Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
According to a report from Fichajes, Tottenham are keen on the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder. It will be interesting to see if they decide to make a move for him.
Ruiz has established himself as a key player for club and country. His performances have been quite impressive in Ligue 1 and he scored three goals and picked up seven assists in all competitions last season. He has been quite impressive in the European championships with Spain so far.
It will be interesting to see if he can help his country win the tournament. The 28-year-old could be on the move this summer and Tottenham will hope to get a deal done.
They need to bring in more quality and depth in the middle of the park and the 28-year-old seems like the ideal acquisition for them. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur have been linked with a move away from Tottenham and they will need to be replaced adequately. The Spanish international midfielder would be the ideal replacement.
He will add goals, creativity and defensive cover to the side. Ruiz can operate as a central midfielder, an advanced midfielder as well as a defensive midfielder. Spurs are missing a player with his skill set.
Atletico Madrid and Real Betis are keen on the player as well and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can get the deal done. He has a contract with PSG until 2027 and he is unlikely to be a cheap acquisition.
