Manchester United's season is not quite over yet.

The Red Devils take on Manchester City in the FA Cup final this weekend. They will be aiming to lift their second piece of silverware of the campaign, whilst also stopping their near-neighbours in their own pursuit of a treble.

Whilst Erik ten Hag is getting his squad prepared on the pitch, there is still plenty to keep him occupied off of it. United are getting plans in place for the summer transfer window in the midst of the takeover process continuing to roll on.

Mount's feelings on Chelsea exit revealed

Mason Mount looks increasingly like to leave Chelsea this summer - but the midfielder wanted to stay at his boyhood club. The Red Devils are closing in on a deal for the England international with reports suggesting that the two parties had come to an agreement over personal terms.

Whilst that may be the case, it will still wrangle with Mount to bid farewell to Stamford Bridge. As per further reports, he does not wish to leave the Blues but has not managed to secure a deal that would give him parity with several other significant members of the squad such as Reece James, who penned a fresh £250,000-a-week deal last year.

Ten Hag has Hojlund transfer trick

Man United have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Athletic are reporting that Hojlund has switched representatives in anticipation of a move in the near future.

He has joined the SEG Agency which also represents United boss Ten Hag. SEG's co-founder Kees Voss has a close relationship with the Dutchman and regularly watches United at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag could look to take advantage of that fact as his side attempt to seal a deal.

Maguire due huge pay-out

Harry Maguire is set to pocket an eye-watering £10m if he quits Man United this summer. He has been linked with a move away from United and should he choose to do that, then he could secure a huge fee.

According to MailOnline, the defender is not expected to earn anywhere near the £190k-per-week wages he pockets at United anywhere else. That would lead to the club having to fork out the remainder of his deal.

The former Leicester man still has two years left to run on the contract that he signed shortly after his £80m arrival from the King Power Stadium.
