KLOPP ATTENDS PARIS FC WIN IN FIRST RED BULL APPEARANCE

Jürgen Klopp has made his first public appearance since taking up his post as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull on January 1.

He was seen alongside fellow German Red Bull official Mario Gomez and former Brazil star Rai at Paris FC on Saturday.

The Austrian energy drinks firm owns a stake in the second-tier French leaders, who beat SC Amiens 1-0 at the Stade Charlety.

Klopp, who left Liverpool at the end of last season and stunned football purists with his decision to join the Red Bull empire, will be officially presented in his new role in Salzburg on Tuesday.

According to media reports, the 57-year-old also attended the ice hockey game between EHC Red Bull Munich and the Fischtown Pinguins from Bremerhaven on Friday.

As things stand, former Borussia Dortmund boss Klopp will not be attending RB Leipzig's Bundesliga match against Werder Bremen on Sunday.

In addition to Leipzig, he is responsible for clubs in Salzburg, New York, Brazil and Japan. The company also holds stakes in Leeds United and Paris and is a financial backer of Torino and Atlético Madrid.
