Arguably could have done better with Brighton's opener. Not much he could have done with the goals that followed but pulled off a number of good saves to keep the score down.
Michee Efete 5
Had his work cut out defensively but tried to get Town up the field on the right-hand side. Did well to limit Mitoma in the first-half but Premier League quality came to the fore.
Andy Smith 6
Struggled in the opening stages with Brighton's forward runners but recovered well. Produced a big tackle to deny Welbeck in the latter stages.

Luke Waterfall 5
Switched off to allow Undav a tap-in for the opener. A tough ask against Premier League opposition.
Niall Maher 6
Like Waterfall, should have done better with Brighton's opener and allowed Undav a free-hit. Worked well with Glennon down the left.
Anthony Glennon 6
Alert to deny March a tap in at the far post in the first-half. Had his work cut out to deny the Brighton winger and Pascal Gross down the right.
Kieran Green 6
Calm in possession and tried to make things happen from deep. Made it tough for Brighton in the middle.
Gavan Holohan 6
Battled well alongside Green in the middle of the park and made it difficult for the Premier League side.
Harry Clifton 6
Linked up well with Efete but struggled in the final third.
Otis Khan 5
Poor in possession in the first-half when Town needed to keep the ball.
Danilo Orsi 5
Pressed well but was isolated up front and denied any real chances. Replaced at the break.
Substitutes
John McAtee (46) 7
Replaced Orsi to lead the line and caused more problems for the Brighton back line. Tested Sanchez on two occasions and forced a good save at the death.
Alex Hunt (46) 6
Like Green, pressed and worked well alongside Holohan but offered little going forward.
Ryan Taylor (71) 6
The tie was already done by the time he came onto the pitch. Good knock down for McAtee with five minutes to go.

Tried to get on the ball but struggled to get them up the pitch.
