ANTHONY JOSHUA COULD GET LAST LAUGH OVER TYSON FURY IN DANIEL DUBOIS FIGHT

Anthony Joshua's upcoming fight with Daniel Dubois could be the largest ever held at Wembley. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter revealed that the bout between the two Brits could see an incredible amount of fans packed in the stadium.

Hearn revealed that Joshua and Dubois' megafight for the IBF World Heavyweight Championship sold 70,000 tickets on the first day [via talkSPORT]. The 45-year-old also said that if the fight gets to 90,000 tickets, he will discuss the possibility of adding 10,000 more tickets to the fight, pushing the total to over 100,000.

Should that happen, the fight will set a new record for most fans to watch a boxing match in the UK. As it stands, Tyson Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte in 2022 at Wembley is the current record holder.

When "The Gypsy King" fought against Whyte, it was reported that 94,000 people had packed Wembley to see Fury knock out Whyte in the sixth round. After the fight, Fury expressed his thanks to those who showed out and packed the stadium.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to every single person who bought a ticket," Fury said, via The Daily Mail. Regardless of how many fans fill the stadium, there certainly will be fireworks when Joshua takes on Dubois on September 21.

What adds more meaning to the fight is the fact that the two will be battling for the IBF heavyweight title. Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed heavyweight champion announced in a video on social media that he will be vacating the championship as a "present" to both Joshua and Dubois.

"Anthony, Daniel, listen," Usyk said in the video. "I know the IBF title is important to you. It is my present to you on September 21." Because of his victory over Filip Hrgovic on June 1, Dubois was awarded the title in the interim.

With Hrgovic and Otto Wallin both having lost, that leaves Joshua as the next challenger to Dubois' new title. Considering how tantalising the prospect is of facing Joshua, Dubois explained just what it meant to fight his fellow countryman at the biggest stage.

"It's a dream [to fight Joshua at Wembley]. Especially after having to come back from defeats and challenging for a world title," Dubois told The Sun. "I now have a chance to win the damn thing outright and that's what I want. I will demolish AJ, from here I can only get even better."

Additionally, it appears as if there's no love lost between the two as they were in a heated verbal spat before the fight. So heated was their meeting that the two had to be separated from one another to avoid any errant punches and such.

"Honestly speaking from the bottom of my heart, aside from belts and aside from it being him, I'm just ready to fight," Johsua said, per TalkSPORT. When Dubois pressed him to put his money where his mouth was, Joshua doubled down, making sure his opponent knew he was ready.

"Relax ...[Do you want] this f------ chair across your face? Don't disrespect me," Joshua spat back when Dubois stood his ground. "Dan, I don't take disrespect lightly, you know? Don't sit at the table telling me we can go now and do all of this and that, try and call me out."

The two stars will face off at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
